Chapter 7 – Obtaining the Faith You Need
The only way to obtain faith is through the repetition of words. Words have an extraordinary impact on our inner and outer lives. Most people are totally unaware of this principle or fail to use it. No, I take that back, they do use the power of words, but generally to their detriment. Words are omnipotent.
The young man says, “I can’t see how words can help me become a millionaire. The millionaire tells the young man to go and read a document on the desk, which he left in the room.
The young man finds the document, which is titled Letter To A Young Millionaire.
He opens the page and there is a single word written in RED ink on the page “FAREWELL”. The bottom of the page was signed the Instant Millionaire. The young man then noticed a computer and a printer which he hadn’t noticed before. There was a page on the printer, it had one sentence repeated over and over again.
YOU HAVE AN HOUR LEFT TO LIVE.

Is this a joke, it has to be a joke. Why would the millionaire want him dead? The young man thinks to himself I haven’t done anything to offend him. His mind start creating a story, maybe the millionaire is a madman hiding his murderous tendencies behind a veneer of kind-heartedness. The young man is totally confused. He was sure of only one thing, whether or not it was a joke, he certainly wasn’t going to take any risk. He was going to escape – forget about his cheque, the secret and the theories of becoming a millionaire. He dropped the letter on the floor and ran to the door, the door was locked. Panic overtook him. He shook the handle, trying to force the door open. Panic became hysteria. He ran over to the window and could see the millionaire in the garden. He started yelling at the top of his lungs. No answer. He screamed louder. No answer. The butler then stepped into the garden, the young man called out to him, hysterically. Still no reply or response.
