Happiness isn’t a definition, so it applies to everybody. How would you know if you were happy, there is a key to deciding if you are happy or not.

With this key you will be able to know beyond a shadow of a doubt at any time of your life if you are happy. And especially if you are doing what it takes to make you happy.

I must warn you that what I’m going to say might surprise you at first, and might even seem a little sad and morbid to you.

Ask yourself: If I were to die tonight, could I tell myself at the instant of my death that I had accomplished everything I had set out to do that day?

You may ask how would that determine if I was happy?

When you have done exactly what your inner self feels you should do each day, you will feel free to leave the world each day. However, to be perfectly sure that you are doing what you should be doing, you will have to do what you love doing.

People who don’t do what they enjoy are not happy.

When people aren’t happy, they aren’t ready to die at a moments notice.

I know this seems a bit of a downer, but it’s not really. We all know we are here for but a moment in time, so therefore we should be happy and make the most of the time we have.

Most of us believe we have time, but we all know that it could happen at any moment. Why do we spend so much of our short time, in negativity, unhappiness and hardship. Most people don’t even know why they are here. If you are one of them, spend the time figuring it out it will change your life. We are meant to be happy and joyful most of the time.

Know What You Want

Chapter 12 – Knowing what you want.

Most people want to be happy, but they don’t know what they are looking for. So, most people will die without ever having found what they want.

And even if they did find it, since they did not know what they’re looking for how would they ever recognise it?

They’re exactly like the people hunting for wealth, they truly want to be rich. But when you ask them abruptly how much they would like to earn a year, most of them are incapable of answering

When you don’t know where you are going, you generally get nowhere.

This formula is so simple – it is really the way the universe works to help us. I mean if someone needed your help, but didn’t say what help he/she needed and you never knew them well enough how would you help them. You would listen to what their inner thoughts where saying and give them more right, you would believe that is what they are asking for.

There is nothing more fair than the way the universe responds to us, it always gives what we are thinking about. The universe has no idea that you can’t express it positively. When we express our deepest pain and say I can’t live like this any more I have no money. The universe responds with “so you want no money” OK I won’t help you get more money.

You scream out inside, I can’t pay these bills, the universe says OK I will help you not pay those bills.

I hope you understand how simple it is, the thing is that most of us have it backwards. We say I can’t – instead of say I want to earn more money, I want to learn how to earn more, I want to learn a new skill so I can earn a second income.

Chapter 12 – Getting wealth and staying there.

The second formula to life – is a mental attitude towards life. It will transform you inside and out. In-fact it will enable you to acquire true wealth.

Great advice – during your search for wealth never lose sight of the fact that, if you lose happiness, you lose everything. The pursuit of money can easily turn into an obsession preventing you from enjoying life.

There is a quote that says – “What shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Money is an excellent servant but a tyrannical master.

The formula I am about to give you will help you avoid walking into the trap most fortune seekers have fallen into. Most of them still struggling to get ahead in life. The first money they earn triggers their deep-seated ambition, causing them to crave more and more. And when they start earning the big money they suddenly become afraid of losing it.

The instant millionaire’s says, my second formula is a variation of the formula created by the physician Emile Coue for his patients.

Every day, in every way, I’m getting better and better. Repeat this formula aloud fifty times, morning and evening, and as many times as you can during the day.

This may seem a bit silly, but I believe if we want to be wealthy and successful then we should be happy as well and enjoy life. So, why take the risk of becoming obsessed and ill.

Take Back Control Of Your LIFE

Chapter 11 – Take back control of your life.

You may not have much now, but if you keep repeating the formula. Little by little you will see changes occurring within you and around you.

Your goal will seem more and more natural, as if it was always meant to be that way. It will become part of your life in just the same way that you are where you are now because of what your beliefs were and the image you held of yourself. What your mind conjured up n the past can be reformulated in a new way. You will be able to mould your future the way you want it – you will become master of your own destiny. Isn’t that everyone’s dream, even if they don’t admit it?

We all want to have control over our own lives and health, but just as we have become lazy and wanting the quick fix with our health. So too have we become lazy and wanting the quick fix with our lives. We want the government to do everything for us, even to tell us what we must do. And in most countries this works for a while, until the governments want to much control and power, treating people like cattle to the slaughter house.

But we are to blame, we have become lazy and are always seeking the easy way out. To take control of our life, we need to become accountable for our actions and take the action required to become independent again.

Chapter 11 – We all go through moments of DOUBT

When you write out our goals and then start reading them aloud each morning and evening, you may feel a little embarrassed by the sound of your voice and by the formula you’ll be repeating. But you will become used to it over time. The goal you laid out for yourself, which seemed audacious at first, will appear attainable and even ridiculously easy.

When you are struggling to believe what you are telling yourself and you will have doubt, think of all the millionaires out there that have done the exact same thing to get what they wanted.

Sometimes you may even think that this is quite funny and laugh at yourself, but don’t stop, think of those that have succeeded and achieved what you want and pull yourself back into the moment.

As I said before it’s no easy but it is simple.

The truth about life is that it will give us what we ask – I would like to leave you with a short poem which highlights what we get from life.

“I bargained with life for a penny, and life would pay no more.

However I begged at evening when I counted my scanty score.

“For life is a just employer, he gives you what you ask, but once you have set the wages, why you must bear the task.

“I worked for a menial’s hire, only to learn dismayed, that any wage I had asked of life, Life would have willingly paid.”

No One Can Do It For You

Chapter 11 – Nobody can do it for you

The goals we write down need to be internalised. We do this through repeating aloud every day. This is similar to anything we want to be good at in life. How does an Olympic athlete get there, he/she practices every day, sometime for 8 – 10 hours a day.

When we do the same thing with our goals by repeating them aloud more than a few times a day, thoughts become actions, Actions become habits, Habits become our destiny.

Keep practising your goal until it becomes a destiny. This is the way we are indoctrinated as children, our parents repeat things to us over and over and eventually we believe it to be true, we accept it and it becomes our truth, whether we want it or not.

When you first start to do this it’s not easy, because our minds are prone to drift off. Try repeating/reading your goal ten times in the morning and ten times in the evening, if your mind drifts off, bring yourself back into the moment and start from the beginning again. You must not allow this to become a mundane routine, because that would then be a pointless exercise. You must repeat your goal with emotions which you will feel when you get there, but you must feel that as if you are there already now as you are speaking the words. If you can’t stick to such an elementary form of discipline, then you should give up your dreams of becoming rich…

Anyone can do this, all it takes is persistence.

Why do we have to read our goals aloud? The reason we repeat the goal aloud is so that the sub-conscious mind believes the instruction is coming from outside – because you hear yourself repeating the goal. So you are thinking the goal, speaking the goal and hearing the goal repeatedly.

Don’t forget to say it with excitement and enthusiasm in your voice, as I said you must be emotional about this goal. If you can’t get excited about your goal, maybe its not the right goal for you.

Life Gives What You Ask For

Chapter 11 – Life will only give you what you expect and take action ON.

What most of us don’t understand until we get a lot older is that life will give us what we expect from it. This is something which is not taught at school or university. Our parents were not taught this so they could not pass it onto us. The sad thing is that this has been known for thousands of years and it has not been passed on. I believe it was always controlled by those in power who did not want the masses to know this law of the universe. They kept the masses in the dark so that they could control the people. We may have heard this worded in a few different ways, but we lost the belief when we did not see any results. In the good book it says, if you want something just ASK, and when we are young we do this. But when nothing comes we stop asking. The problem was not that we asked, the problem was that we were not taught how to ask, how to do the research, plan and take action.

It is really pointless asking for something if we are not willing to take the action to get what we want. Here is an example of what I mean –

A school lever decides he would like to be a doctor, so he asks to be a doctor. He waits a week and again he asks to be a doctor, again he waits a week and asks again. Later in life when people ask him what he does he says, I am a mechanic, but I wanted to be a doctor. He still doesn’t understand why he did not get what he asked for. He did no research as to which university he would have to go to and what the cost would have been. He did nothing to raise the money so he could go to university, because he didn’t know how much money he would need.

If you are not going to take the action to get you from where you are to where you want to be – then don’t ask.

Life will give you what you ask for – make sure you are asking for more than you need.

Chapter 11 – Creating your goals

When creating your objectives, keep in mind that most people are over-cautious. Why is that? Because they don’t believe they are worth anything. Their self-image is rock bottom.

When we go into an interview most of us are happy to be there and are more than willing to undercut our salary to get the job. But what we fail to understand is that the company doing the hiring might be willing to pay us way more because they want someone that is competent and professional. If you are good at what you do and would be an asset to the company, then they should pay you what you are worth. If you ask for more than they are offering, then they will tell you what they are offering, but if you ask for less then that is what they will give you.

No one is going to tell you that you asked for to little, so don’t do it. You need to know what top people in your position are being paid and then go in with a salary request that you believe you are worth, and don’t underestimate your value to the market place.

We all know most people hate their jobs, the main reason is probably because they feel they are being underpaid for what they are delivering to the company. But if that is the case, it’s their own fault, they accepted or asked for that salary.

The other thing to consider is that when we ask for a lower salary than the company is willing to pay. The interviewer may think that your are not at the level of the person they are looking for, so you may not get the job.

If you go in higher than what they were going to offer, the interviewer will be saying, I wish I could offer you more but, this is what we are offering. They will believe you are worth more.

The Need For Change

Chapter 11 – Understanding the need for change

Once you understand your need for change in your life in order to reach your aim, you might be thinking that you have no idea of that aim.

A you may start to wonder how the hell you are going to earn the extra $5000 a year that you want. Not to worry. This isn’t a serious dilemma.

What counts is to fully permeate your sub-conscious mind with your goal, duly written down stating such and such an amount and a deadline.

Your sub-conscious mind will do the rest. Stay on your toes. And as you become aware that things won’t get better on their own, when an opportunity or a luck break crops up, you need to be ready to grab it without the slightest hesitation. Don’t allow yourself to be paralysed by fear, which prevents to many people from living their dreams. You know if you do nothing, that nothing will change for you or your family. So you mustn’t hesitate to take the steps necessary to achieve your goal.

Correctly programmed, your sub-conscious mind will work for you 24 hours a day. If you have issued it the order to increase your income by $5000, it will most definitely execute the order. Remind it daily, so that this mission becomes its magnificent obsession.

It is important to read and clarify your goals at least once a day, when something is deeply wanted it must be a desire. A desire is something we fill with emotion, make that emotion passion and when we fill our dreams/goals with the emotion of passion the universe moves to help and guide us to the things we desire the most.

Double your Assets by taking Action.

Chapter 11 – Doubling your Assets every year?

There is nothing dramatic or reprehensible in this as far as it goes. It’s purely an objective observation. The formula of doubling your fortune each year or increasing your assets with respect to the previous year’s is clearly not the only way to become a millionaire. However the secret it contains – that is, a quantified goal (an amount and a deadline by which to reach it) – is valid for anyone wishing to succeed.

For example, you might simply want to increase your income by $5000 a year. If you now earn $25000, you would probably want to earn $30000 – a matter of affording a few more luxuries. To do this the formula is just as easy. Simply repeat to yourself. This year I will increase my income by $5000 of more and I will earn $30000 or more.

You don’t need to know how you will manage it. You simply have to realize that if all you can hope for is a 10 percent annual rise in your present job, and you don’t want to moonlight, you will have to land a promotion or switch jobs to reach your goal. This may appear self-evident, but thousands of people hope to improve their material situation and do absolutely nothing about it. IS THIS IGNORANCE? Is it because they are basically satisfied with their situations even though they complain day in and day out.

This is the position millions of people around the world are stuck in at the moment. What we have failed to realise or have not been taught is that, it is up to us, if we want anything to change we must take ACTION.
