How To Land A Better JOB
Landing a better job is about how much self-development you did, on yourself over the last three years.
We all want to earn more money, but if you have not improved or increased your capabilities (Your value to the market place) how can you expect more.
So if you were a painter for the last five years and you are applying for a job as a painter, well then how can you expect more than you were being paid.
But if you were a painter and over the last three years you’ve learned how to lay bricks and do plastering, well now you have increased your value and capability. So you can ask for more money, you see there is no way to get more without doing more.
The truth is if you want more you need to become more than you are.
You need to ask yourself these three questions.
- Do I want to stay in the field of work which I am currently in?
- Will my current job still be around for humans in the next 5 to 10 years?
- Is my current job/position, guaranteed (I will have my job until I retire and they won’t fire or retrench me)?
If you’ve answered “NO” to any of the questions, then you need to start some serious self-development.

That’s the way life is, there is no one that can do it for you.
